The primary goal of FSPAG is to help wounded physicians learn to heal ourselves and each other -- without interference by FSPHP member organizations. Part of this effort includes promoting individual physician health and well-being by providing a confidential forum for networking, community-building, discussion and exchange of ideas for self-protection and self-advocacy on behalf of physicians who may be potentially impaired by substance abuse, physical or mental illness, or disability of any kind. Part of this effort also includes sharing and discussing legal resources for protecting the civil rights of potentially impaired and disabled physicians.
