This blog is brought to you by the Federation of State Physician Advocacy Groups (FSPAG). FSPAG has become very concerned that the dysfunctional culture and bureaucratic structure of Federation of State Physician Health Program (FSPHP) member organizations serves only to injure, disable and kill allegedly impaired physicians by driving them into isolation and despair through systematic defamation and humiliation. FSPAG is not affiliated in any way with the FSPHP or any other professional or licensing organization. See www.fspag.org for more details.

The primary goal of FSPAG is to help wounded physicians learn to heal ourselves and each other -- without interference by FSPHP member organizations. Part of this effort includes promoting individual physician health and well-being by providing a confidential forum for networking, community-building, discussion and exchange of ideas for self-protection and self-advocacy on behalf of physicians who may be potentially impaired by substance abuse, physical or mental illness, or disability of any kind. Part of this effort also includes sharing and discussing legal resources for protecting the civil rights of potentially impaired and disabled physicians.

Please feel free to contribute your ideas and experiences to this blog. You are not alone.
